Travelling back to do the Museum..

On Wednesday 4th November. We passed flowers around a REALLY BIG museum and we talked about our museum behaviours. We gently and  quietly walked up in the museum and we were AMAZED! It looked and smelled like a mall we had to hang up our bags. We quietly walked upstairs and saw new children from another school. The whole school was wearing blue t-shirts. We had to clear up a path for them to go down stairs.

We continued walking up and saw many statues. We saw inside the museums were volcanoes and many thi-

ngs about animals. We went on dinosaur origins and different bones about dinosaur information. I enjoyed it a lot. Some of them were the animals who were related to dinosaurs. There are some real bones and created bones. I remembered that in my old home my mum used to teach me about mammals and extinct animals. We went on lands we learned about kiwis we learned about different olden days creatures and different trees all about animals and feathers we learnt about different types of animals like different birds and trees. After looking for information about the animals we went on pacific life-ways we went and learned about boats and some of the weapons Maori use. learnt about tapa cloth and different stuff about kiwi and more died animals

My Green Learning

Hi there! ( Green Explorers )

Are you ready to travel?.. OK!. Today in this MASSIVE green colour adventure we have made some Kawakawa plants!. A kawakawa is a small branched tree, the leaves might have a caterpillar named 'looper moth caterpillar' they called it Kawakawa because: the bitter taste of the leaves. kawakawa is used for your dry skin or to use it for dishes taste. And we had poured the water in the pot and squeezed the roots to losen it, and we gently pushed the bottom of the pot and take the plant out gently, gently pulled the roots apart, put 2 scoops of fertiliser in the hole, put the kawakawa plant in the hole, scoop soil onto the plant using a trowel, press it down to make sure it won't fall, poured water onto the kawakawa plant put a stick to support the Kawakawa.... so that is it you all ask....?  NO!.... Just kidding I'll see you all next TIME!
